The first place that comes to my mind while planning a trip to hills is Mussorrie. My much-awaited trip to Mussorrie was well planned by Sterling Resort Mussorrie. This trip was planned for 3 days and 1 night. Keep reading to know more!!

Trip to Mussoorie(from Delhi) usually takes 7-8 hours if you are going by road, we (19 more bloggers) opted for a Traveller. The journey was so much fun with other bloggers, got to know so many of them personally. We started at around 11 pm and reached Sterling Resort Mussorie at around 7: 30 am. After which we guys went for a quick nap, a much-needed one. I was supposed to sleep in the bus but I couldn’t, because hill area you know.

After a quick nap we met for breakfast, let me tell you guys, Sterling Resort serves amazing breakfast, right from toasts to carrot idli(as fancy as it sounds). The view from the breakfast hall looked marvelous, it felt like I was having breakfast in the middle of the clouds.

Sterling Resort Mussoorie is another 1-2 km from Mussoorie, can you imagine how beautiful it could be. Trust me when I say this, the property is huge. Almost all the rooms have a beautiful view of the hills. Talking about the rooms, they are made in such a manner that you will feel at home. A comfortable bed, a perfect closet, a kitchen area and a beautiful view.

So Sterling not just provides you a stay, but also best known for the fact that they plan activities for you, too. They want the visitors to not just experience the resort but the entire city.

Coming to the staycation, after we had our breakfast we went to explore Mussoorie, which couldn’t be completed without some Momos and dessert.

We went to Kalsang, which is best known for its Chinese food. We ordered Chicken Momos and Chilli Potatoes, this place is very affordable and the food tastes really good. Next, we went to the Chic Chocolate, as the name suggests, it is best known for Chocolates. We tried the very famous Chocolate Fudge and it was the best Chocolate Fudge I have ever tried, no you can’t find the same thing in Delhi. The day ended after a huge dinner spread at the resort accompanied by Bonfire.

Next morning we woke up at around 6 am and went for a trek to Lambidhani Mines, which is one of the haunted places in Mussoorie. After coming back all tired, we went for our breakfast in the resort. After a nap of a few hours, we also tried a few adventure sports at Sterling Resort itself, after which it started raining, unfortunately. The last day ended with a lavish candlelight dinner, authentic Pahadi dinner right in the lobby under the sky.

We started at 9 am and reached Delhi at 8 pm, due to heavy rains and traffic. I highly recommend Sterling Resort Mussoorie as a perfect resort if you are planning your trip to Mussoorie with your special one.
