Diwali Outfit Inspiration 2017
Right from Card Parties, to dressing up like a pro, I like it all about Diwali. From school to office I believe I have always been actively involved in all Diwali Activities, like Rangoli competition, skit etc. But you know what, wearing new clothes for Diwali has been in the top of my list since ever. Although I’m not a person who wears blingy clothes normally, but I make sure my Diwali Outfit is LIT.
Think about it, if not on festivals, when will you wear those oh so beautiful outfits, not to your office right? I agree one should keep it simple, but a little bit of Bling won’t harm anybody :p
Details of my Diwali Outfit
This year I wanted bold colors with either golden or copper detailing. My search ended at Goldy’s Nestt located in Greater Kailash, M block. I opted for a Red Skirt which had a beautiful golden work on it. The Dori made up of Gottapatti and Shells added that glamour. The flowy silhouette of the skirt was well defined, keeping in mind the festival theme. If it’s your first Diwali Party after marriage, I think you should definitely go for it.
Talking about the blouse/choli, it had a fine work of golden all over it, accompanied with small pearls. The shine of gold and softness of pearl made it a perfect piece, to wear with a saree, skirt or a lehenga.
Accessories are an important part of any outfit. Since the blouse had a beautiful neckline, I opted for Red & golden Chaandbalis to complete the look.
The makeup was full of golden glitter on the eyes and red lips because it’s Diwali!!! A side bun completed the look.
Now that you got some real inspiration for your Diwali Outfit, don’t waste your money on burning crackers. Rather go for this ensemble and become a head turner this Diwali.
